Why does closing the laptop lid cause freezes or frame rate drops?

Closing the laptop lid during a session sometimes triggers power-saving settings, which can reduce GPU performance or interrupt rendering. This typically causes temporary freezes or stuttering in mixed reality applications.

For uninterrupted performance, we recommend to not close the laptop lid while using the headset.
