Do I need to change my setup when upgrading from the XR-4 Series headset to the new 2026 version?

If you have previously used an XR-4 Series headset, your new headset can be connected to your existing setup.  

To start using your new headset: 

1. Download Varjo Base 4.13 version or newer. 
2. Disconnect your old headset and headset adapter (LB-4). 
3. Connect your new headset and headset adapter (LB-5). 
   See XR-4 Series Quick setup guide for instructions on connecting your headset. 

To ensure your headset works properly, please only use the headset adapter that comes with it. Using other adapters may cause issues, and we cannot guarantee full functionality.
