Can I use multiple monitors with XR-4, XR-3 and VR-3?
Yes.
NVIDIA graphics cards have a set limit of the number of devices that can be connected simultaneously. Any additional ones are automatically disabled.
We recommend connecting the main monitor to the same graphics card that your Varjo Headset is connected to, and any additional monitors to graphics cards that your headset is not connected to.
Here are a few different ways to use more than one monitor with XR-4, XR-3 and VR-3:
XR-4
Depending on your system configuration, you can connect additional monitors to either an integrated GPU or to an additional dedicated NVIDIA GPU.
XR-3 and VR-3
- Depending on your system configuration, you can connect additional monitors to either an integrated GPU or to an additional dedicated NVIDIA GPU.
- Simple rendering with a single dedicated NVIDIA GPU: In Varjo Base, enable the Simple rendering feature. Connect the monitors to a single dedicated GPU on your computer.
