I connected the headset to my laptop using the Link Box but I cannot see the image on my headset display.

XR-3 and VR-3

Connect the headset using the provided headset adapter(s).

Note that laptop computers are not compatible with XR-3 and VR-3. See System requirements for more information.

 

Varjo Aero

Connect the headset using the headset adapter(s) provided with your headset or the laptop adapter sold separately.

 

XR-1 Developer Edition

First make sure that your laptop meets the System requirements for Varjo headsets. To solve this issue, try the following:

  1. Choose the appropriate cables (DisplayPort–DisplayPort or DisplayPort–Mini DisplayPort) to connect the headset to your laptop.
  2. Make sure to connect the XR camera cable to a Thunderbolt™ 3 port with a lightning symbol.
  3. Make sure to connect the cables in the right order. Unplug the headset from the Link Box and reconnect the cables in this order:
    1. Connect the Link Box to your computer and to a power socket.
    2. Connect the XR camera cable from the headset to your computer.
    3. Connect the red optical cable from the headset to the Link Box.
    4. Connect the blue optical cable from the headset to the Link Box.

 

VR-2 Pro, VR-2, and VR-1

First make sure that your laptop meets the System requirements for Varjo headsets. To solve this issue, try the following:

  1. VR-2 Pro and VR-2 only: Choose the appropriate cables (DisplayPort–DisplayPort or DisplayPort–Mini DisplayPort) to connect the headset to your laptop.
  2. Make sure to connect the cables in the right order. Unplug the headset from the Link Box and reconnect the cables in this order:
    1. Connect the Link Box to your computer and to a power socket.
    2. Connect the red optical cable.
    3. Connect the blue optical cable from the headset to the Link Box.
