Changing Varjo Account type

There are two types of Varjo Accounts: commercial and personal accounts. Read more about the different account types.

An email address can only be associated with one Varjo Account.

Changing your account type from personal to commercial

To change your account from personal to commercial, follow these instructions:

  1. In Varjo Account Portal, navigate to Account settings > My account > User information.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Change the Account type to commercial.
  4. Select Save.
  5. Reset your password.

Note that after you change your account type from personal to commercial you cannot change it back without deleting your account. 

Changing your account from commercial to personal

To change your account type from commercial to personal, delete your existing account and create a new one. Follow these instructions:

  1. In Varjo Account Portal, navigate to Account settings > My account > Delete account.
  2. Select Delete.
  3. Select Delete account to confirm. 
    All data related to your account is erased from the Varjo servers.
  4. Create a new account using the same email address and select the desired account type.
