Setting up XR-4 Series (2026)

This is a full walkthrough for setting up your XR-4 Series headset. If you have previously used an older version of the XR-4 Series headset on the same computer, the Quick setup guide will guide you about the necessary steps to take your new headset into use.

Before you start

You will need:

  1. A commercial Varjo Account to use the XR-4 Series headset.
  1. Varjo Base Pro license (optional). If you need the most powerful and advanced tools for mixed reality and research applications, you can purchase a Varjo Base Pro license in Varjo Account Portal. Read more about the features that are included in the license.
