Do I need a Varjo Base Pro license for my headset?
The license is required for XR-4 Series headsets that were purchased after March 25, 2025, for using the full professional feature set in Varjo Base.
However, Varjo wants to recognize XR-4 Series customers who purchased their headsets before March 25, 2025. As an exemption, these customers can continue to use the existing features included in the 4.10 release without a license.
XR-4 Series headsets can still be used with Varjo Base software without a license. In this case, some professional software features will not be available.
The license is not required for XR-3, VR-3, or Varjo Aero headsets.
